Mental Healthcare Specializations Degree Programs
You must submit the following information and forms to the Admissions Office by the admissions deadline to be considered for admission to the Mental Healthcare Specializations in Master of Arts in Psychology or Doctor of Psychology programs:
- Create your account to Apply for Admission for Mental Healthcare Specializations Degree Programs.
- Official transcripts from all colleges, universities, and graduate schools attended.
- A 3- to 5-page autobiography. The autobiography should cover personal and professional goals; academic and professional experience; personal qualities that will contribute to your success as a graduate student; and why you have chosen to apply to University of the Rockies and your desired program.
- Three professional letters of recommendation on University of the Rockies' Applicant Recommendation form. Letters must be from individuals who are familiar with your academic ability, work ability, integrity, and potential as a professional psychologist.
- Miller Analogies Test (MAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) results that have been completed within one year of your application.
- Consent to a criminal background check at www.validityacademics.com.
- Official copies of TOEFL, if applicable.
- Completion of the interview process.
Non-Mental Healthcare Specializations and Degree Programs
You must submit the following information and forms to the Admissions Office by the admissions deadline to be considered for admission to the Non-Mental Healthcare Specializations in the Master of Arts in Psychology or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), the Master of Arts in Human Services, the Master of Arts in Organizational Development and Leadership, or the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organizational Development and Leadership degree programs:
- Create your account to Apply for Admission for Non-Mental Healthcare Specializations and Degree Programs.
- Official transcripts from all colleges, universities, and graduate schools attended.
- Official copies of TOEFL, if applicable.
Non-Degree Seeking Applicants
You must submit the following information and forms to be considered for admission as a Non-Degree Seeking student:
- Create your account to Apply for Admission as Non-Degree Seeking.
- Unofficial or official transcripts from institution granting the Bachelor's degree and any graduate schools attended;
- Satisfy all prerequisite courses or degree(s) required for admission to the University of the Rockies degree program in which the courses are offered; and
- Unofficial or official copies of TOEFL are acceptable or transcripts to satisfy the English language requirement, if applicable.
In addition to the above requirements, non-degree seeking students who wish to take PSY prefix coursework offered in the Master of Arts in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy specialization or Mental Health Counseling specializations, or in the PsyD, Clinical specialization are also required to:
- Consent to a criminal background check at www.validityacademics.com; and
- Complete the interview process.
