Take your Master of Arts in Sociology further and enhance your credentials with a specialization in Applied Sociology. You will be prepared to put theory into practice to address a variety of social problems and policy concerns. The Applied Sociology specialization is ideal for you if you are interested in pursuing careers as managers, researchers, policy analysts, instructors, consultants, and service providers in a variety of organizations and settings.

Graduation Requirements

To fulfill the requirements for the Master of Arts in Public Sociology, Applied Sociology specialization, you must successfully:

  • Complete program coursework of 30 credits; and
  • Earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00.
