Design your own path with the Standard Program of study in a Master of Arts in Sociology. After completing 4 core Public Sociology courses plus the capstone (15 credits), you will select 5 courses (15 credits) from a pool of Applied Sociology, Medical Sociology, and Public Sociology Elective courses to create the program that best meets your individualized interests and needs.
To fulfill the requirements for the Master of Arts in Public Sociology, Standard Program, you must successfully:
- Complete program coursework of 30 credits; and
- Earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00.
This program of study does not meet, nor is intended to meet, the requirements for professional licensure in the State of Colorado. The Master of Arts in Public Sociology program is not a licensure program.
